Guillermo del Toro y todos los nominados a los Critics Choice Awards
‘Pinocho de Guillermo del Toro’, el proyecto de stopmotion del mexicano, está nominado en tres categorías. La cinta 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' lidera con 14 postulaciones.
Las nominaciones a los Critics Choice Awards se anunciaron este miércoles. La comedia dramática inscrita en la tendencia del multiverso como detonante narrativo Everything Everywhere All at Once, lidera las postulaciones con 14 nominaciones. Pinocho de Guillermo del Torofigura en tres categorías de los premios que otorgan los críticos cinematográficos.
El proyecto del mexicano parece que será uno de los consentidos de la temporada de premios. Suma tres nuevas postulaciones a las que recibió por parte de los Golden Globes en las mismas categorías: Mejor Película Animada, Mejor Banda Sonora por el trabajo de Alexander Desplat y Mejor Canción Original por el tema Ciao Papa, co escrito entre el propio Del Toro y Roeban Katz.

Para Everything Everywhere All at Once, el proyecto de Dan Kwan y Daniel Scheinert, las nominaciones están repartidas entre mejor Película, las categorías de actuación para Michelle Yeoh en la mejor actriz, Ke Huy Quan en el actor secundario y Jamie Lee Curtis y Stephanie Hsu en actriz secundaria. Los Daniels recibieron dos nominaciones por escribir y dirigir el éxito de taquilla de A24.

En el segundo puesto de los proyectos con mayor nominaciones se encuentra la semi autobiografía de Steven Spielberg:The Fabelmans, la cual obtuvo 11 nominaciones, incluidas dos a actor de reparto para Paul Dano y Judd Hirsch. Seguidos por el proyecto de altos vuelos de Damien Chazelle,Babylon que obtuvo 10 nominaciones.

Junto a Everything Everywhere en la categoría de mejor película se encuentran Avatar: The Way of Water, Babylon, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,RRR, Tár,Top Gun: MaverickyShe Said.
A excepción de Joseph Kosinski por Top Gun y Rian Johnson por Glass Onion, los otros nueve directores de largometrajes están entre los 10 nominados en la categoría de mejor director, junto a de Gina Prince-Bythewood por The Woman King.

Jeff Bridges recibirá el premio Critics Choice Lifetime Achievement Award en la ceremonia de este año, la cual se celebrará el próximo 15 de enero de 2023, desde el Fairmont Century Plaza de Los Ángeles.
